Tali Dratshang

Tali Dratshang is located a 10 minutes drive from Gelephu Town. Lam Therchung is credited with the institution of the Dratshang in 1971. The small Lhakhang is adorned with statues of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, Buddha, and Guru Rinpoche. It is a place of worship for locals and is the winter residence for the monastic body of Sarpang Dzongkhag.

Every year the Dratshang observes a festival consisting of various masked dances and cultural dances. Thousands of locals come to witness the festival and enjoy it with their families and friends.
