Mr. Therchen, an ebullient young entrepreneur, ardently pursues ventures within the realm of tourism. A Sikkim Manipal University alumnus, he holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Application from the esteemed Indian institution. Beyond his role as a driving force behind Truly Bhutan—a reputable Travel Company in Bhutan—Aue Therchen has been the Country Chapter luminary for The International Ecotourism Society since the dawn of 2019.
An illustrious career in tour guidance commenced in 2008, during which he has provided his services to notable personages such as the Tongan monarch (2012), the Canadian Chief Justice, and a bevy of distinguished foreign dignitaries and prosperous clientele. Supplementing his tour-guiding expertise, Mr. Therchen has overseen ventures under the moniker Luxury Travels In Bhutan since 2011. Moreover, he holds the esteemed distinction of lifetime membership in the Guide Association of Bhutan.
A polyglot, Mr. Therchen boasts fluency in English, Nepali, Hindi, Chinese, and Spanish, albeit his written proficiency encompasses solely English—excluding Dzongkha, his mother tongue. On a personal level, this convivial gentleman harbors a fondness for literature, composition, and establishing connections with others. Additionally, he indulges in photography and altruistic pursuits during his moments of respite.
