Out Of the many festivals held in various parts of Trongsa, the grandest is the three day annual Tshechu. These festivals bring together people from all lifestyles and falls sometime in the month of December.
The Trongsa tshechu one of the oldest tshechu in Bhutan.
Following mask dances are part of the four-day Annual Trongsa Tsechu.

These festivals bring together people from all lifestyles and fall sometime in the month of December.
In addition to traditional mask dances, visitors can witness the unfurling of the sacred Thongdrol and receive blessings from high-ranking monks.
People also receive blessings from the sacred Nangtens which is opened during the last day of the Tshechu.
This is an annual event in which runners compete over a distance of 26.2 miles for the full marathon
