Bhutan International Marathon

This is an annual Bhutan International Marathon event in which runners compete over a distance of 26.2 miles (42 kilometers) for the full marathon or 13.1 miles (21 kilometers) for the half marathon.

The race begins in Gasa and ends at Punakha. It’s a competition, but it’s also a tour of beautiful rural landscapes and communities.
