We have observed that planning a trip to Bhutan is a complex process of planning and payments which we thoroughly studied, planned and programmed so as to make it a very simple and time efficient process for you. We are your ‘Buddy’ helping you out in making your tour planning and booking process a time efficient and delightful one. Please follow the instructions below and we are positive that you will find it as simple as mentioned earlier. Thank you!

1. Adding the tour package, upgrading your stay/hotel, vehicle & guide, adding activities to your tour

To proceed, select the tour category on the left and select from the available tour packages based on your travel choice. Click on the package and once inside the tour details page, first step is to add the tour by clicking ‘Add this Trip’ button from the top right corner. In this page you can:

* Have a view of the places you will be visiting on the tour under section: Visual Itinerary of your trip

* Know about the tour’s inclusive & exclusive details along with other important information like things to carry etc..

* Upgrade your stay/hotel to 5 star or 4 star in each of the places you will be staying under section: Accommodation – View & Upgrade

* Upgrade to luxury vehicles under section: Transportation – View & Upgrade

* Upgrade to language specific guide if, you need one under section: Your Travel Guide – View & Upgrade

* Select Activities that you can avail in each of the places you will be staying.

Some activities draws additional cost (Bhutan Travel Buddies is not making profit with activities like Live musical programs and cultural shows. It is a small initiative from Bhutan Travel Buddies to promote the musicians of Bhutan and to provide a platform to showcase their talent by entertaining you and making your vacation a memorable one. In addition, in the process, make it a sustainable engagement for them. The money goes in paying them, hiring sound systems & other logistics as the live program is organized exclusively for you and your group. Some other activities are complimentary from Bhutan Travel Buddies. Select the activities under section: Location Specific Activities – Add to your Trip

2. View your tour details and confirm tour

Click on ‘View my trip detail’ on the top right corner to view your tour details

* It summarizes your tour and the upgrades and activities that you might have added.

* You can cancel the trip and go for another trip if you wish.

* Confirm the tour by filling up the form and providing the details.

* Click on ‘Confirm Trip’ to confirm your tour with Bhutan Travel Buddies.

Here, our system calculates your tour cost dynamically and next step is to view your invoice and pay online.

3. View your Invoice and make Payment

System will generate the Invoice and upon verification of the invoice

* You can print it as your copy and make the payment using our online payment gateway system.

* We have trusted and secured payment gateway system with 256 Bit Encryption SSL (the strongest in the market).

* The deposit is done directly to the Tourism Council of Bhutan’s account maintained with Bank of Bhutan (BoB) so; all your payments are secure and safe.

FYI, till the tour is not executed by us, your payment is maintained with Tourism Council of Bhutan which guarantees that your payment is safe.

4. Submission of your passport copy for Visa processing

Once we receive your payment, we will provide you with

* The login credential for your account that will be created upon successful payment.

* Login to your account from Home page’s Login and fill up the Visa application form online

* Upload your scanned passport copy in the form of .jpg or image file for processing the visa by us.

* Your visa approval document will be updated in your account once your visa is approved.

* You can download or print from your online account.

FYI, you need to furnish this document in the airport (Druk Air or Bhutan Airlines counter) to collect your flight ticket

5. Confirmation of your Tour

Our reservation & operations team will swiftly confirm

* The hotel including upgrades if any

* The vehicle including upgrades if any

* The guide including upgrades if any

* The activities that you might have added

* Visa

* You will receive notification through email as well

* Login to your account to view the confirmation
