Chele La Pass

On about 26 km from the heart of Haa, Chele La Pass lies on an enchanting spur with a breathtaking view. The place is mainly adorned with colorful prayer flags and minor stupas. There’s no habitation on the route as the road switches back through a forest of blue pine, fir, and oak. At about 3400m the road traverses through the alpine country toward the pass & Kila Goemba. Chele La Pass is 3,810m. It is then a 35 km drive down to the junction with the Paro road in Bondey.
