Shilling Toed Eco Camp

Shilling Toe Eco Camp is 30 Kms away from Panbang Town and lies 420m above the sea level. On the way you find several scattered villages where ancient traditions are still followed. You can also have spectacular view of the mountains surrounding Panbang. Following by the banks of Mangde Chhu (River that comes from Trongsa) you find lots of birds and even some of the wild animals including Golden Langur, Monkeys, Wild Boars, Deer, Bear, etc. There is a suspension bridge crossing the Mangde Chu from where your real excursion starts. It is 1-2 hour’s work from the bridge to the actual campsite. This is the great opportunity where you can take photographs of the wild orchids, trees, birds and animals. Upon arrival, the local people will welcome you. The campsite is cold during winter overlooking a high raised cliff and the Mangde Chhu River. Warm cloths are recommended during winter.
